Club Brugge barely manages in a friendly thanks to Ruud Vormer

Bruges played their second warm-up match this Wednesday, against Lierse-Kempenzonen.

After a quiet victory for its first outing under Carl Hoefkens against Thes Sport, Club Brugge this time had to settle for a split for its second friendly match, against Lierse-Kempenzonen. Les Lierrois traveled to Bruges and took the lead there in the first half via Nils Schouterden. Hoefkens for the occasion lined up two totally different eleven with the exception of the doorman Nick Shilton, mixing in the first and second period his executives and his hopes.

In the second half, we still found some experienced players like Clinton Mata, Fede Rica and Ruud Vormer who, armband on his arm, will eventually bring the Blauw & Zwart back into the game. The Dutchman’s first goal under Hoefkens, but also a first slight collision against a resident of D1B.
