Christophe Galtier (Nice) formalized as PSG coach this week? The two clubs close to an agreement

The French coach of Nice Christophe Galtier will more than likely be the successor to Mauricio Pochettino at the head of PSG.

According to our colleagues from The Teamfollowing the negotiations of the last few days, the two clubs are “close to an agreement around a sum of around ten million euros” and the departure of the Argentine coach, “expected by Thursday”is no more than a formality linked to the severance pay of Mauricio Pochettino and his staff, who were still under contract next season.

The native of Marseille Christophe Galtier, 55, has known only three clubs since his debut as head coach in December 2009: Saint-Etienne, Lille and Nice. He achieved the feat of leading LOSC to the title of Champion of France in 2020-2021.
