Cape – Sidibé, two new recruits for the URB

A week after the announcement of the arrival of young Guillaume Eyango from Hermine de Nantes, the URB today recorded the reinforcement of two experienced players. In the lead, the Rennes club made a very good pick with the signing of Sébastien Cape, who had played for two seasons with neighboring Lorient. Trained in Pau-Orthez, Cape knows the division perfectly, having played in Tarbes-Lourdes, Caen and Bordeaux. He comes out of two good seasons in Lorient with very good statistics (10.8 points, 2.5 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 1.3 interceptions over the last exercise). His impact and consistency on the pitch will do a lot of good for the Rennes squad, which is coming out of a complicated year.

The URB will also be able to rely next year on the back Ibrahima Sidibé who played at Orchies this season. Passed by the clubs of Denain (Pro B), Get Vosges (N1), Caen (Pro B) or even Evreux (Pro B), the 26-year-old player has every intention of bringing his experience as well. He is having a great season at Orchies after two years disrupted by injuries (8.2 points, 2.3 rebounds, 2.4 assists). The URB confirms with these two arrivals the desire to move forward and launch a new challenge.
