Serge Gnabry regretted the feud between Bayern Munich and Robert Lewandowski. He said it was embarrassing and had to be resolved quickly.
This stems from Lewandowski’s desire to leave the Allianz Arena this summer. The Polish player has rejected a new contract offer from Bayern.
That means Bayern only have time this year to release Lewandowski, if they don’t want to lose him for free. This was also used by Lewandowski to force Bayern to sell him.
Moreover, Lewandowski already has a club goal next season, namely Barcelona, which is really desperate to bring him. Unfortunately, Bayern did not want to let it go.
Although Lewandowski had publicly announced his plans to leave, Bayern did not budge and instead attacked his player. They asked Lewandowski to honor his contract because he was still a Bayern player.
