Bayern Start Approaching Other Targets, Frustrated by Mane?

Munich

Bayern Munich may be frustrated because they haven’t completed Sadio Mane’s negotiations. As a result, Die Roten will chase other players.

Bayern became the club most desperate to sign Mane, after the Senegalese player expressed his desire to leave Liverpool.

The problem is that until now, Bayern’s two offers have not satisfied the Reds’ top brass. First, Bayern offered 21 million pounds which was flatly rejected.

Second, Bayern will increase their bid to £23.5 million plus a £6.5 million bonus if Mane wins the Ballon d’Or and wins the Champions League three years in a row.

Both offers were far from the figure Liverpool asked for in the range of 40-45 million pounds. Therefore, Liverpool are still waiting whether Bayern dare to increase their offer or not.

Liverpool’s insistence on maintaining Mane seems to have made Bayern lose patience. The Bavarian club may be able to cancel their intention to bring Mane if Liverpool still insists on not lowering the price.

Because Bayern don’t want to spend time just chasing one player, because they still have other targets.

“We are also eyeing several other options for the attack line. The transfer market is not easy, it always depends on the financial strength of the club,” said Bayern sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic as quoted by the Daily Mail.

“I don’t want to talk about other club players. Of course we can’t just use one option to strengthen our attack line. We have to have several options,” he continued.

The latest news from journalist Fabrizio Romano, Sadio Mane’s deal with Bayern will be completed in the near future. Bayern Munich is even ready to increase its offer, knowing Liverpool have just spent a lot of money to buy Darwin Nunez from Benfica.
