The departure of Niklas Süle in the center of defense has not yet been compensated externally. The current interpretation is that Benjamin Pavard should move inwards – although the Frenchman often played as a right-hand part of the back three in the previous season. Accordingly, the Munich team are keeping their eyes open for another central defender. The affordable top calibers are not on the market.

Bremer (25) from FC Turin has been hotly traded for a long time, but also costs up to 30 million euros and is very popular with Inter Milan. Jurrien Timber (21) currently sees his future at Ajax Amsterdam and has therefore already canceled Manchester United. But who knows, maybe Bayern will pull a surprise out of the hat. Like left-back Borna Sosa (24/ VfB Stuttgart), who Julian Nagelsmann is said to have wanted.

Marc Roca and Corentin Tolisso are already gone. Ryan Gravenberch is new. With Konrad Laimer (25), another central player could come if Marcel Sabitzer (28) leaves Bayern. The endurance runner from RB Leipzig could switch to Munich for around 20 million euros.

The Bayern midfield still lacks a technically perfect strategist, like Toni Kroos or Thiago once did. Julian Nagelsmann’s dream player Frenkie de Jong (25/FC Barcelona) is hardly affordable and when he does he’s on his way to Manchester United. It currently seems as if no such type of player is coming to Munich again.

Sturm

The biggest movement is probably still in the center forward position – at least if Robert Lewandowski’s change request is still fulfilled. In this case, a new real nine should come. Sasa Kalajdzic (24 / VfB Stuttgart) is a candidate, the Austrian would be available for a maximum of 25 million. However, Munich’s ‘Abendzeitung’ reported this Thursday that FC Bayern are refraining from making a commitment. According to the local newspaper, Kalajdzic was only interesting as a backup or replacement for Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting, but not as Lewandowski’s successor.

Also on the list: Hugo Ekitike (20), for whom Stade Reims have already accepted an offer of 36 million plus bonuses. A sale of Joshua Zirkzee (20) could bring money for further transfers, for which a new interested party is positioning himself after VfB Stuttgart with Ajax. Bayern demands ten million transfer fee.
