Born in Manisa on January 12, 1993, Samet Geyik started his basketball career with Bornova Municipality in the 2009-10 season. Transferred to Tofaş in 2010-11, Samet wore the uniform of Bursa representative until the end of the 2014-15 season.
Samet Geyik, who started the 2015-16 season with Darüşşafaka and finished the season in Pınar Karşıyaka, spent the 2016-17 season at Anadolu Efes.
Transferred to Beşiktaş in 2017, Samet sweated the team’s jersey for three seasons.
Samet Geyik, who transferred to Türk Telekom in the summer of 2020, spent the last two seasons with the capital city representative.
