The Clippers have decided to decline their “team option” to better negotiate a long-term contract with Ivica Zubac.
Beneficiary of a “team option” at 7.5 million dollars, the Clippers decided not to activate it in order to negotiate a new contract with their 25-year-old pivot. According ESPN, Ivica Zubac has agreed to extend his contract for 3 years with the key 33 million dollars. The Clippers are therefore securing a strong man in their workforce for the coming seasons.
