Basketball in the purest NBA style at Stadium Casablanca

A little piece of the NBA has arrived this week at Stadium Casablanca thanks to the campus of Like 23organized by former basketball player Diego Ciorciariwhich has a skills coach straight from the best league in the world.

A hundred young basketball players between 10 and 20 years old are enjoying these days the lessons of Joshua Villarreal, who in the last decade has established himself as one of the best coaches in the world in terms of skills. That is why he works with various NBA players such as Victor Oladipo, Tyler Herro, Tim Hardaway Jr, Royce O’Neale, James Johnson, Cole Anthony o James Wisemanamong others.

“The main objective is to bring young people closer to the technical, individual and collective fundamentals that are currently being carried out in the US”, explains Ciorciari, who is already preparing campuses in France and the United States to be able to take young people from Zaragoza and the rest of Spain to experience trips related to basketball, in which, in addition to training and playing friendly matches, they will be able to enjoy these countries and of this sport. Along with Cioriciari, Matías Lescano, also a former professional player, works as a technical assistant.

For 5 hours a day, the young players are training with Joshua Villarreal, who has designed exercises where everything related to ball handling, coordination, footwork and balance will be worked on, as well as their implementation with movements applied to the real situations that the players will find in the competition.
