The three-time German champion (2014,18 and 19) moves into the final in the completely crazy semifinals of the playoff series!
The dream of the championship title lives on. But it couldn’t have been more exciting!
The Munich team was actually on course, leading 2-0 in the series, but Bonn saved the match point twice and triumphed in both games in Munich! Game 5 had to bring the decision!
And again the Bavarians staggered!
The team of coach Andrea Trinchieri (53) starts furiously, flared off an offensive firework. Bonn didn’t lead once until the middle of the second quarter. But Bayern got back on track, played it down confidently in the end – and are in the final. The rested record champion Alba Berlin is waiting there. The capital city defeated Ludwigsburg 3-0 and have been finalists for six days.
