Barça has activated this Thursday the first lever to clean up the club’s economy by selling 10% of LaLiga’s television rights to Sixth Streetwhich will initially invest 207.5 million euros for the next 25 years, as confirmed by the culer picture.
“With this operation, FC Barcelona generates a total capital gain of 267 million euros for this season. Sixth Street will initially invest 207.5 million and will receive the economic benefit of 10% of the club’s television rights from LaLiga over the next 25 years, “Barça said in a statement.
The transaction was executed after the ratification of paid members at the recent extraordinary general meeting, when the sale of the 49.9% of BLM (Barça Licensing & Marxandatge, SL) and the 25% of television rights.

Sixth Street has 60 billion euros in assets under management
The American company is the leading investment company on a global scale with more than 60 billion euros in assets under management and committed capital. Investments that include several of the most important sports organizations in the world, such as the San Antonio SpursNBA franchise, after leading the team investor group in 2021.
