Baltimore Ravens player Jaylon Ferguson dies at 26

The Baltimore Ravens mourn Jaylon Ferguson. At only 26 years old, the one who occupied the position of defensive end within the franchise of NFL, was found dead at his home Tuesday evening by the police of Baltimore, as reported ESPN. Despite the attempts of the doctors present on the spot, the young man did not manage to be resuscitated. The causes of death are still unknown, since no trace of trauma was detected on the body of the deceased. The investigators, who dismiss the criminal act, do not exclude the possibility of death by overdose.

After hearing the news, the Baltimore Ravens paid tribute to Jaylon Ferguson on their social media: “We are deeply saddened by the tragic passing of Jaylon Ferguson. He was a kind, respectful young man with a big smile and an infectious personality. We express our sincere condolences to Jaylon’s family and friends as we mourn a life lost too soon.Ravens coach John Harbaugh also shared his emotion:Jaylon was a big-hearted, gentle person who loved his family and his team. It was a pleasure to speak with him and to see him every day. Our prayers go out to his family. We are wholeheartedly with his spirit.

On Twitter, Baltimore Ravens players have multiplied tributes, including Patrick Ricard, fullback within the franchise: “Jaylon is someone I will cherish for the rest of my life. His smile and positive attitude are two things I will never forget. You could find a smile on his face no matter how the day was going. His personality was contagious throughout the dressing room, and there wasn’t a person in the organization who didn’t have respect for him.“Jaylon Ferguson had three children, two daughters and a son, all under the age of 5.
