To end the season in style, the UREM Basket invited the Badminton Rosporden association to a cross-country meeting on Monday, June 27. The latter brought together a total of 25 players, delighted to discover another sport during a friendly exchange. The evening began with small basketball matches in teams of five players, before giving way to badminton with classic matches in doubles and 21 points.
“For each session, the players mixed together, some giving advice to others. This nice moment ended with a drink and the desire to continue this initiative. The players were delighted with the experience and want to repeat it next season, explained enthusiastically Élodie Nicolas, president of Badminton Rosporden. Regarding badminton, we would like to open cross country to other racket sports with the Rosporden clubs, in particular tennis and table tennis”. Note that during the summer, the badminton club continues to welcome players on Mondays and Wednesdays, from 8:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. and Saturdays, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., at the Colette-Besson room.
