Azpeitia will play the Interpueblos final for the seventh consecutive edition thanks to its victory in the semifinal against Tolosa, confirmed on Friday night at its Izarraitz fronton with victories in all three games. Jabi Odriozola’s disciples have won five of the six matches in the qualifying round and expect a rival for the appointment on Saturday 25 at the Atano III in Donostia, where they will try to retain the txapelas.

The cadets Larrañaga and Otaegi left the semifinal in sight with a 22-7 win against Altuna and Insausti, confirmed by the juniors Egiguren and Odriozola, who beat Onsalo and Iztueta 22-18. The contribution of Martxel Iztueta, the sensation of the last few months, was not enough to add the point.

With the ticket to the semifinals in their pockets, seniors Iker Egiguren and Jakes Elosegi were able to beat Altuna and Beloki from Tolosa 22-12.

The second leg of the other semifinal, the one between Oiartzun and Hernani, will be played this Sunday at 5:00 p.m. at the Madalessoro, where the team from Hernani will start with a 2-1 advantage.
