Director of the ATP 500 in Barcelona since his retirement in 2019, David Ferrer was inevitably asked about the 14e coronation of Rafael Nadal at Roland‐Garros. Former opponent but also teammate of Rafa in the Davis Cup, the former 3e world player believes that there is no more debate regarding the greatest player of all time.
“Rafael Nadal is the greatest player of all time. It takes the game of tennis to a new level. Hopefully we will see him compete for many more years.”Ferrer told ESPN.
