Aron van Lare back at NAC

Van Lare left in the summer of 2017 after having played in the NAC youth academy for one year. He continued his development at PSV, which was rewarded with a professional contract in 2019. Finally, he was allowed to make his debut under the bar for Jong PSV in 2021 in a game against FC Dordrecht (1-1). Van Lare has also scored for several drafts of the Dutch national team. Aron’s contract with PSV expired, so the goalkeeper makes the transfer to NAC free of charge.

Van Lare about his transfer: “NAC has always been a warm club so it feels a bit like coming home. In recent years at PSV I have become a better keeper and I have experienced a lot. The opportunities I see at NAC really appeal to me. It is a great club and of course wants to go to the Eredivisie with NAC, because it is such a club.”

Eric Hellemons is also pleased with the goalkeeper: “Aron is a young, talented keeper who we know from his earlier period at NAC. With Pepijn van de Merbel and Aron van Lare we now have two talented keepers for the future. Both goalkeepers will have to develop next year and put pressure on whoever will play. Creating mutual competition to take each other to a higher level.”

Success Aron!
