Last night a loggerhead turtle chose Anzio and in particular the free west beach of the Caves of Nero to lay the eggs, right at the foot of the imperial villa. It is the first time this has happened on a beach in Lazio. The volunteers from Tartalazio, the Ermellino 92 Association and Parkkeepers from Tor Caldara intervened on the spot. They delimited the area and set up the garrison until the birth of the 80/100 turtles, expected between the end of July and the first days of August.
