Anriquelis Barrios announced his withdrawal from the Valledupar 2022 Bolivarian Games | Other Sports 123

Just two days before the XIX Valledupar 2022 Bolivarian Games, the Pan American champion and Olympic diploma at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, Anriquelis Barrios reported through his social networks that he will not play the regional event due to physical discomfort.

The 28-year-old judoka arrived in Japan a few weeks ago to continue with her Olympic scholarship along with the Venezuelan judoka and flag bearer in these games, Elvismar Rodriguez.

Barrios reported his absence and expressed his dissatisfaction for not being in the fair but he prefers to be at 100% of his skills “I’m still recovering physically to be back soon and take on more challenges.”

Likewise, the Venezuelan delegation in the discipline will have the experienced Karen León and Elvismar Rodriguez together with a renewed judo team.
