With the achievement of María Yulieth Pérez Tangarife in the individual badminton final, silver medal, after being beaten 2-0 by the Peruvian Inés Castillo, the contribution of the department of Quindío to the Colombian delegation in the XIX Bolivarian Sports Games reached 8 medals.
