Anderson Cotón from A Coruña traveled yesterday to Porec (Crocia), where he will compete in the European Cadet Judo Championship. The athlete from the Judo Club Arteixo was summoned by the Spanish team to take part in the continental event after achieving the required points in the last European Cup in which he participated this season, in Coimbra (Portugal).
Cotón, from the category of less than 60 kilos, is tenth in the European ranking and will face a field with 38 contenders. It will be a new competition in which to accumulate experience after having participated a month ago, also with the national team, in the Gymnastics in France.
