Álvaro Sierra and Sergio Díaz, seventh in the Andalusian Junior Cup in Fuengirola

The athletes Álvaro Sierra and Sergio Díaz, from the judo CD HUELVA TSV, traveled last weekend together with the technicians Santiago Mazarío and Almudena Gómez to the Malaga town of Fuengirolato compete in the Andalusian Cup in the juvenile category that, in a very professional and educational way, was organized by the Andalusian Judo Federation.

The test has meant the restart of the competition and the events after the pandemic for these categories; Both athletes participated in combats that helped them to accumulate experience and measure themselves at the regional level, in their weight category -46 kilos, finishing both Álvaro and Sergio in seventh place.

For his part, the Huelva club returns to the international circuit with the help of athlete Javier Pérez, who will participate next Saturday in the European Open in Madrid, in his newly released -60Kg category and after having been proclaimed national medalist in the university championship in recent weeks.
