A track from an attacker seems to be confirmed on the side of OM

Olympique de Marseille is looking to recruit during this transfer window to strengthen its workforce for next season. Qualification in the Champions League is an asset for the Marseille club and Pablo Longoria, the sporting director, puts the argument forward.

At the dawn of the opening of the transfer market, the residents of Ligue 1 are busy attracting new players to their ranks. The Marseille club, blocked by the National Management Control Department, still does not have the authorization to secure the services of a new recruit. Pending a decision, the management contacts to avoid wasting time.

Sometimes the targets are the same between the different European clubs. The case of Alexis Sanchez, according to Third, a Chilean daily, is of great interest to Olympique de Marseille. The 33-year-old player, under contract with Inter Milan until June 2023, would be in contact with Jorge Sampaoli, the coach of Olympique de Marseille. At the head of the Chilean selection for several years, the Argentinian won the Copa America with the striker with 148 selections.

Despite his more or less failed season with only seven starts for five goals and two assists, Atlético Madrid, Aston Villa, Arsenal and FC Barcelona are also on the project. Still according to someone close to the player in the lines of the Chilean daily, the Catalan club would have a head start: “Marseille is one of the options the player has on the table, but others appeal to him more, like FC Barcelona. After June 30, he will make a decision for his future.”
