a foreign reinforcement and a departure to Union Neuchâtel

Union Neuchâtel has its first foreign-licensed reinforcement. This is Akim Robertson (27, Grenada), a 208cm pivot. He played 27 games for the Lugano Tigers last season.

He stood out on December 11, 2021 by scoring 45 points and 20 rebounds against BC Boncourt, recalls the Riveraine club in a press release. His average stats in 2021-22: 35.3 minutes, 17.8 points, 10 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.1 blocks per game.

Akim Robertson played from 2016 to 2018 on the Titans team at California State University of Fullerton, in the Big West Conference, NCAA1.

Then, he joined the Croatian Premier League in the Adria Oil Skrljevo team. In his second season, his average was 26.8 minutes played with 17.2 points scored and 6.9 rebounds grabbed.

Granvorka confirms his departure

The rumor had been running for a few weeks and it was confirmed by the principal concerned. Yoan Granvorka (25) will not continue his adventure at La Riveraine.

Arrived in 2018, the Swiss international announced his departure on social networks. The name of his future destination is not yet known.

During the 2021-2022 season, the versatile basketball player averaged 10.6 points scored and 4.6 rebounds per game.
