Boucherville was completely “judo” on June 3, 4 and 5, when the Judo Club held several activities that attracted many athletes, administrators and volunteers from the Judo Federation from all over Quebec.
The Club, which was celebrating its 50th anniversary, hosted the Judo Québec congress held on Saturday at the Francine-Gadbois Multifunctional Center as well as the Gala of Excellence which took place at the Hôtel Mortagne.
During the weekend, at the same time, four training sessions for young people were offered at the Marcel Bourelly dojo by Olympic medalists Catherine Beauchemin-Pinard and Jessica Klimkait.
Also, a Ne-Waza training for referees was given on Saturday at the De Mortagne school. To close the event, Sunday was devoted to evaluations. Forty-one athletes therefore appeared before the judges for their grade passage.
