A big hit in badminton, Polynesia finished 2nd in the Pacific Mini-Games. • TNTV Tahiti Nui Television

The harvest of medals is over for the Tahitian delegation. After ten intense days, between training and competitions, Tahiti finished second in the medal table, behind Papua New Guinea. The results are more than positive with 58 medals including 22 gold, 15 silver and 21 bronze medals.

In badminton, Tahiti made a raid and won the 5 gold medals in games for this day, like Jenica Lesourd who won 2 sets to nil against her Caledonian opponent.

If we add up all the finals of these Saipan Pacific mini-games at the badminton level, Tahiti collects 100% of the gold medals.

See you in December 2023 in the Solomon Islands for the next Pacific Mini-Games.
