99 percent we lose if Jeremiah Rambitan is not injured

KOMPAS.com – Malaysian men’s doubles Aaron Chia/Soh Wooi Yik admit that they could have been knocked out in the quarter-finals of the Indonesia Open 2022 if Yeremia Rambitan had not been injured.

Aaron Chia/Soh Wooi Yik face the vice hosts Pramudya Kusumawardana/Yeremia Erich Yoche Yacob Rambitan in the quarter-finals of the Indonesia Open 2022.

The match between the two pairs was held at Field 2 Istora Senayan, Jakarta, Friday (17/6/2022) night WIB.

In the first game, Aaron/Soh trailed 14-12 to Pramudya/Jeremiah. However, they can win the second game with a score of 21-12.

Then in the deciding game, Aaron/Soh almost lost. The fifth seed at the Indonesia Open 2022 is 17-20 behind Pramudya/Yeremia.

However, a heartbreaking moment occurred at that position. Their opponent, Jeremiah Rambitan, suddenly collapsed while returning the attack.

Jeremiah Rambitan winced in pain while holding his left knee.

The match was briefly stopped to give Jeremiah the opportunity to receive treatment from the medical team.

Yeremia Rambitan seemed unable to continue the rest of the match. However, the player who was born in Jakarta, October 15, 1999, refused to resign.

He continued to fight with Pramudya until the match ended even though he had to endure pain in his knee.
