In Shinsan Sports Park, Nam-myeon, Yangju-si, weeds are overgrown and trees are dying, neglecting and frowned upon.

According to Yangju City on the 26th, Nam-myeon Shinsan Sports Park was established in 2003 and has a performance hall, Ainuri playground, pine garden, sports facilities, and convenience facilities such as benches.

However, the landscape trees next to the performance hall and badminton court were left dead in the overgrown weeds due to poor management. Long-grown grass and wild flowers covered the dead landscape trees in a yellowed state.

Some of the pine trees in the pine garden were dead and had a red color, and even though the pine trees in the slide were also dying from damage from pests, management did not reach them.

In front of the concert hall, next to the management office managed by the Nam-myeon Youth Association, a mobile badminton stand was lying around.

In particular, in the Mangbaedan of the Yangju North Korean Provincial Association, which was set up in one corner of the sports park, the landscape trees were arbitrarily grown, and the grass was overgrown, which obscured the landscape of the stone statues behind the Mangbaedan.

Some of the sports equipment installed next to the futsal stadium are not properly maintained, such as paint peeling and rust.

Nam-myeon resident A said, “Sometimes I visit the children’s playground in Shinsan Sports Park to play with the children, but there is not enough shade to rest and there are many grasses, so they do not grow and go in, take a short rest on the bench.” Who will come?” he pointed out.

Regarding this, a city official said, “We will check the site and improve the areas that are lacking.”
