HEILOO – Under the title ‘Victorie on Tour’, Victorie is stepping outside its walls and has booked a tour for local talent Wies en de Liefde in a number of special places in North Holland. On Friday 13 May they will perform in the Cultuur Dome in Heiloo.
Wies en de Liefde is a band from Bergen and a welcome guest in Victorie. Due to corona, the release of the debut album ‘Zonderdagen’ and the release show in Victorie were canceled at the time, but the record is now coming. In addition to a show in its own building, Podium Victorie books a beautiful tour around it. The music of Wies en de Liefde can be described as a mix between lyrically written, poetic Dutch pop music fed by folk and cabaret influences. Wies’ catchy songs, strong lyrics and ability to captivate the audience are going to make for a series of magical shows!
In the field of talent development, Victorie sees it as its task to offer talent from the region a stage and make it visible to the world. A collaboration with Wies en de Liefde in the form of a tour turned out to be a bull’s eye. ‘Sundays’ becomes a listening concert that takes the speed out of time and puts the haste next to life; in which life and love are sung about in a vulnerable way and played by Wies and her Men.
During their tour, Wies and de Liefde will also visit the Koepel on Friday 13 May, starting at 8.15 pm. Tickets for € 14.50 can be purchased via www.cultuurkoepelheiloo.nl and at the tourist office at Landgoed Willibrordus in Heiloo.
