The hand luggagewhich can be from a schoolbag up to a carry on, has some limitations in terms of content. There are items that are prohibited to carry in the baggage on boardaccording to global regulations.
The Carrasco Airport published what are the items that cannot be present in the baggage that will be transported on board:
-Drinks
-Animals that may pose some risk (dogs, cats, etc.)
-Sporting firearms
-Pointed weapons with dangerous edges and sharp objects (knitting needles, hypodermic needles, metal cutlery, etc).
-Blunt instruments (baseball bats, golf clubs, fishing rods, etc.).
-Liquids, gels or creams in quantities greater than 100 milliliters. However, these substances can be transported in quantities of less than 100 milliliters in a transparent sealed plastic bag, which in its size is not greater than 20 by 20 cm.
-Lighters and matches
-Adhesive tape, rope, insulating tape, ropes, etc.
-Chemical products (acetone, chlorine, acids, pepper spray, etc.)
What about the free shop purchases? According to the regulations, they are exempt. Purchases will be sealed and delivered upon boarding.
