After the rescue madness on Saturday against Cologne (2:1), staid Swabians became cheering beasts. Coach Pellegrino Matarazzo rushed towards the fan curve as if stung by a tarantula, mascot Fritzle pushed the coach to the ground in glee. Mavropanos maltreated the back of goalscorer Endo with punches, the stadium shook. A madhouse. Pure ecstasy!

One can only scoff at these goose bumps pictures: Ex-Bayern boss Uli Hoeneß (70).
The Honorary President in Munich City Hall to BILD: “In Stuttgart they think they’ve won the World Cup. They just didn’t dismount.”
Stuttgart’s new boss Alexander Wehrle (47) does not let this blasphemous comment sit on him, countering: “If you see the emotions at Bayern’s celebrations, you think they’ve just finished 10th – and not for the 10th time champion.”
What he means: Bayern’s title celebrations seemed stale recently, the beer showers tormented. You’ve only seen ecstasy and stadiums overflowing with euphoria lately from TV.
