Michael van Gerwen failed to win the fourteenth match day of the Premier League on Thursday evening. Mighty Mike went down 6-5 in Sheffield in the final against Gerwyn Price.
Van Gerwen is currently second in the Premier League standings, three points behind leader Jonny Clayton.
Gerwyn Price is in fifth place with this victory, two points behind number four in the standings, Peter Wright. “Whether Price comes closer? Certainly not with me, Van Gerwen tells Viaplay. “He is not even in my shadow and my shadow is quite big,” the 32-year-old Dutchman laughs.
