The Rector Trophy of the UEx recovers the finals in all its modalities

After two years of pandemic The Badajoz-Cáceres finals are resumed in their entirety, in the longest running and most popular competition of the University of Extremadura, the Rector Trophy.

Suspended in 2020 due to confinement due to covid-19, last year they were held in a reduced version, either because some sports were not played due to lack of registrations (basketball or volleyball), or because some of the qualified teams could not play them due to incidents with the disease (futsal).

If in the first week of May of last year 2021 only the finals of individual sports took place, in this edition all the modalities that had traditionally been developed return, even others that had declined have been recovered, as is the case doubles chess or badminton.
