Xi’an News Network News on May 14, the reporter learned from the Jinghe New Town Management Committee of Xixian New District that recently, the main project of the Jinghe New Town Sports Center has passed the acceptance inspection and is expected to open to the public on July 1 this year. After the project is completed, it will become Xi’an’s first sports-themed urban competitive entertainment complex.
The Jinghe New Town Sports Center is based on the concept of “Jingshui Runs Shells”, with white shells as the mother body, and the building is simple and pure. The project is located on the north side of Jinghe Avenue and east of Jinghe Third Street, covering a total area of 78 mu, with a total construction area of about 50,000 square meters and a total of five floors. The basement floor is a sunken basketball court, which can accommodate 1,200 people at the same time. After completion, it will be the first NBA-level basketball court in Xi’an. The four floors above ground are the swimming center, badminton hall, gym, football field, e-sports center and other venues, as well as commercial parts such as cinema, catering, and retail.
It is reported that the Jinghe New Town Sports Center project is positioned as an urban complex integrating culture, performance, business and leisure with sports functions as its main function. As a key project of Jinghe New City and an important livelihood project, after the project is completed, it can host many international and domestic sports events including basketball and football, as well as large-scale cultural and sports activities, to further improve urban functions and improve urban quality.
In addition, the project introduced the first Aofei animation flagship store in the northwest and the first Daluge flagship store in the northwest. The water sports area on the second floor has a standard swimming pool with 6 tracks and 50 meters, as well as a children’s water play area, which has become another good place for parent-child entertainment for Xi’an citizens. The Starry Sky Stadium on the third floor breaks the boundary between inside and outside space, and introduces nature into the football field. It mainly undertakes the functions of youth training institutions, fan events, amateur training and other functions to create a football-based urban healthy sports.
