The intensive summer camp of the Carlos Beltran Baseball Academy returns – El Calce

The Carlos Beltrán Baseball Academy (CBBA) will be holding, for the fifth time, its summer camp at its facilities in Florida, Puerto Rico. Boys, girls and young people from 9 to 17 years old will have weeks full of games, fun and specialized learning in the sport of baseball.

After pausing for two years due to the pandemic, the institution recently accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools will resume its specialized summer camp to continue strengthening the development and practice of baseball in Puerto Rico. For its part, the accreditation of Middle States is the validation of the mission and objectives of the Carlos Beltrán Baseball Academy in that its educational curriculum is as solid as the sports curriculum. What makes the CBBA Summer Camp 2022 in the most complete and technical summer camp in Puerto Rico.

The camp will have the visit of its founder, Carlos Beltrán, as well as some great friends and colleagues of the outstanding former player.

“We are very excited to be able to resume the summer camp and receive in our facilities all the boys, girls and young people who want to enjoy a fun summer, but at the same time strengthening their baseball skills. This is one of the activities that we enjoy the most in the year and we strive to make it an experience,” said Edwin Maldonado, executive director of the Carlos Beltran Baseball Academy.

Maldonado, a former professional player for the San Francisco Giants, will also impart his knowledge, as well as other professional players and players from the Double A Major Baseball League, who are part of the regular CBBA coaching staff.
