In the premiere season, he managed to lead the team around Didier Drogba, Frank Lampard and Petr Čech to the first place in the Premier League. In his second season, Chelsea took a silver position, which was not enough for the demands of the demanding leadership, which subsequently recalled the Italians.
After less than six months without a job, the French PSG, which was still relatively freshly funded by Qatar Sports Investments at the time, took over the services of an Italian coach in the winter of 2011. Although Ancelotti did not reach the title during the first half season, the second attempt was already successful and the team, which included Zlatan Ibrahimović and Thiago Silva, achieved the coveted triumph in Ligue 1.

This was followed by a premiere engagement in Real Madrid, which took place between 2013 and 2015. At that time, Ancelotti did not claim the league title. The fourth country where he dominated the highest competition thus became Germany. In the famous Bayern, Munich trained for just over a season, but still managed to win the Bundesliga with the Bavarian giant in 2016/17. Subsequently, he resigned as head coach in the fall of 2017.
After engaging in Naples and Everton, the seasoned strategist returned to Real Madrid, where he signed a three-year contract last summer. And he proved that entering the same river twice is not always a mistake. On the very first attempt, he managed to dominate La Liga and thus complete the quintet of titles from the biggest European leagues, which is something that no coach has yet succeeded in. The closest to the current names are Pep Guardiola and José Mourinho, who have won championship titles in three of the five countries mentioned.
Ancelotti is therefore fulfilled regarding the collection of prestigious titles. But no stormy celebrations will take place, at least for the time being. Already on Wednesday, Real is waiting for the semifinals of the Champions League against Manchester City, whose coach is the Guardiola.
