Teddy Riner returned to competition and success at the French Team Championships, which took place on Saturday in Villebon-sur-Yvette (Essonne). For his comeback, the 33-year-old Frenchman won his three fights by ippon, the last in the final against Alexandre Iddir as Paris Saint-Germain and FLAM 91 were tied for a victory everywhere.
The title was played on the last fight between Walide Khyar and Luca Otmane. The latter finally brought the point of victory to PSG (3-2), which succeeds the winners of FLAM 91.
Paris Saint-Germain achieved the double by also winning in the women’s competition. In the final, he dominated three victories over Blanc Mesnil’s Étoile Sportive, who thus relinquished his title.
