Atlético Nacional tied 1-1 with Deportivo Pereira, on date 19 of the I-2022 League. The purslane could not decipher the Matecaña defense and it was barely enough to equalize through Jarlan Barrera. Carlos Ramírez scored a free kick for the visit.
The purslane team took advantage of the speed of the pitch to find the goal that would give them peace of mind in the match. The locals generated several occasions, but they lacked aim.
At minute 12, Carlos Ramírez’s free kick put Deportivo Pereira ahead on the scoreboard, after a good free kick that Kevin Mier could not avoid. The Risaraldense team had generated approximations, until the opening of the score came.
At minute 28, Nacional approached the rival goal through Juan David Cabal, with a cross shot from the left sector, which passed near Harlen Castillo’s goal. The purslane insisted on reaching the opposite goal, but they lacked precision.
As the minutes passed, Nacional and Pereira concentrated the game in midfield. The field of play did not provide the guarantees for the match to have a better development either.
At minute 43, Hayen Palacios left due to injury and Nelson Palacios entered. The winger had to leave due to an injury.
At 45, a double shot by Jarlan Barrera and Danovis Banguero, who almost equalized, but his second shot went close to the left hand post of Harlen Castillo.
In the complementary stage, Andrés Andrade entered instead of Jhon Duque, the Valle del Cauca midfielder completed 100 games with the Purslane team shirt.
Nacional achieved the tie through Jarlan Barrera at minute 7 of the second half, after taking advantage of a rebound in the heart of the rival area. The purslane returned to score after three and a half games in the Colombian League.
At minute 14, Baldomero Perlaza caught a rebound that almost ended up in Nacional’s second goal. The purslane continued to attack and at minute 19, Danovis Banguero, after a cross, was able to score the goal.
Around the 27th minute, Ruyery Blanco and Sebastián Gómez entered the National team instead of Jefferson Duque and Alexander Mejía. The purslane according to attacking on Pereira’s goal, but the final stitch was missing to specify the options.
At 32, Jarlan had a new scoring chance, but the ball went wide of the Pereira goal. At 35, the samarium had to increase the score, but again the shot went wide.
At minute 43, Carlos Ramírez had the winning goal, but his shot was deflected by Kevin Mier’s right hand post.
Finally, Nacional failed to break its streak without winning for four games and Deportivo Pereira resigned its chances of qualifying with this draw.
On the next date, Atlético Nacional visits La Equidad in Bogotá, while Deportivo Pereira hosts Atlético Bucaramanga.
