Standard promises are allowed to go to 1B with the U23 of Genk, Anderlecht and Club | 1B Pro League

The top 4 of the national promise competition will receive a ticket for the 1B Pro League next season, which made the U21 competition extra interesting this season.

Genk suffered its only loss of the season (0-2) at home against Club Brugge yesterday. Anderlecht won with the same figures against KV Mechelen. Genk finishes in 1st place with 57 points, Anderlecht is 2nd with 50 points and Club Brugge 3rd with 43 points.

For the 4th ticket, it went between Standard and AA Gent. Standard had enough against Charleroi, Ghent had to beat Antwerp. Gent did the same (1-0), but Standard also fulfilled its assignment: 2-2. Standard closes the competition in 4th place with 41 points, Ghent has 40.

Next season, many promise teams will be integrated into 1B or the 1st or 2nd National amateur series. Genk, Anderlecht, Club Brugge and Standard are allowed to go to 1B,

Among others, AA Gent will play in the Eerste Nationale, Antwerp and Cercle Brugge will play in the Tweede Nationale.
