Sports associations and Cecufid close ranks heading to JN 2022

MORELIA, Mich., May 31, 2022.- Led by the general director of the State Commission for Physical Culture and Sports (Cecufid), Raúl Morón Vidal, as well as presidents and representatives of the various disciplines, the meeting was held with associations sports heading to the 2022 edition of the Conade National Games.

At the meeting, the last details were finalized prior to the start of the competition scheduled from June 1 to July 17 in Baja California, Baja California Sur, Sonora, Sinaloa and Jalisco.

In the approach that took place at the Cecufid facilities, Morón Vidal said he was happy with the work of the associations in the face of the national fair, knowing that the good results will catapult the athletes to the respective national teams. Along with him, the head of the Selective Department, Sergio García Malfavón, and the methodologists Guillermo Pérez and Medardo García were present.

Cecufid directors explained that each sport has its particularities, so the methodological work is different, therefore, they adapt to each one to grant them the necessary conditions in search of good results. They also pointed out that the necessary tools will be given to the athletes who will represent Michoacán in the five entities of the Mexican Republic, such as nutrition, psychology, oral care, physiotherapy and sports medicine, among others.

This meeting brought together the presidents of the Michoacán associations of roller skates, basketball, volleyball, weightlifting, karate swimming, surfing, chess, archery, boxing and squash, in addition to badminton, which is in the process of forming its state group, as well as sport climbing, break dance, among other disciplines that will debut at the 2022 Conade Nationals.
