For the second edition of the Basketball Africa League, a competition created by FIBA and the NBA, the Tunisian team from Monastir is once again in the final of the playoffs. Last year, they lost against the Egyptian team of Zamalek (63-76). This Wednesday evening, US Monastir took revenge in the semi-finals by eliminating the defending champions this time, with a score of 88 to 81, with 20 points from former Strasbourg player Michael Dixon.

Solo Diabaté (7 points at 2/6 on shots and 5 rebounds in 21 minutes), former LNB player passed by Dijon, Roanne, Nancy, BCM, Rouen and Fos, therefore eliminated his former teammates, since he played for last year in the Egyptian team. This Saturday, he will be able to win his second African championship title in the final at the Kigali Arena, in the event of victory against the Angolan team of Petro Luanda.
