After victories against Juliane Benz (SG Egelsbach) and Lea Heidl (Judo-Verband Berlin eV) in the subsequent consolation round, Lomb faced Ranandi Holstein (TSV Großhadern) in the fight for third place. The two already met in the small final at the national U15 screening in Backnang in March.
