Sebastián Villa was charged with an alleged case of sexual abuse in Argentina

This Thursday the Boca Juniors player, Sebastián Villa, was notified as a defendant in the investigation that was opened by the Argentine Prosecutor’s Office for sexual abuse, gender violence and attempted murder against a young woman in events that occurred the previous year.

Roberto Castillo, the complainant’s lawyer, pointed out that with what has been exposed so far, Villa “He should be called to give an investigative statement and it would not be unreasonable for him to be ordered to preventive detention due to the procedural risk that exists if he remains free.”

Sebastián’s lawyer, Martín Apolo, accepted the position and appointed an expert witness to participate in the psychological and psychiatric examination to which the victim will be subjected in the coming days.

The prosecutor González summoned for this Friday the doctor from the Penna Hospital, who treated the complainant and who advised the victim to file the complaint, so that she can give her testimony of what happened.

For its part, in the last few hours more evidence was released by a witness for the investigation that the Prosecutor’s Office began the previous week.
