Sainte-Sigolène: 83 members of the tennis club

Saturday morning at the Sainte-Sigolène complex, the return match of a team meeting between the young licensees of the Tennis Clubs of Yssingeaux and Sainte-Sigolène ended.

This meeting organized on the initiative of Jonathan Maletzki and Nathan Bérard (instructors for the licensees of the two clubs) took place in two parts. An outward phase to Yssingeaux on May 7 and a return phase to Sainte-Sigolène the following Saturday.

This double meeting saw the young people of Yssingeaux win 21-18 after two days rich in matches.

The opportunity to discover the local club. This club of 83 licensees led by a team of volunteers has managed to stabilize its number of licensees after two years of decline due to the Covid.

150 team matches were played throughout the 2021/2022 season and a tournament will be organized from June 24 to July 17.
