Inés Prado, in ladies, and José Luis Pascual, in men, were the winners of the FOES 2022 Tournament, held last Saturday at the Soria Golf Club.
The competition brought together 60 players, with an outstanding performance by the representatives of the host Club, led by the winner of the male section, José Luis Pascual.
A) Yes, Pascual won the title in the men’s section of Scratch, while in ladies the victory corresponded to Inés Prado (Firing Field). In Handicap, in ladies the first classified was another local player,
Sara López, followed by her partner from the Soria Mar Ruiz Golf Club. In the men’s First Category, first place went to Alfonso Martínez (Cerrada Rioseco), ahead of Javier Sainz (Soria), while in the Second Category the best was Álvaro Tantos (Cerro Fontellas) ahead of another host club representative , Juanje Cacho.
The championship also awarded prizes for the best female Approach, which went to Inés Prado, and for the male, a section in which Álvaro Gilmas (Basozabal) stood out, and for the longest Drive, also with Inés Prado as the protagonist in ladies, while in men the award went to Marcos Martínez (Cerrada Rioseco)
The FOES 2022 Tournament was played under the 18-hole Individual Stableford modality.
Two categories were established for gentlemen and a single one for ladies.
Those for gentlemen were up to handicap 15 (First Category) and from handicap 15.1 (Second).
The organization was carried out by Soria Golf Club and the FOES (Federation of Business Organizations of Soria), in a day that was a complete success and in which, apart from enjoying the tournament and the facilities of the Soria Golf Club, the participants were entertained with a picnic and entered in the prize draw.
