Peñarol beat Aguada again and was one win away from the final of the Uruguayan League

The series between Aguada and Peñarol advances in a yellow and black tone towards the finals of the Uruguayan Basketball League, in which the aurinegros achieved the second victory, this time 91-86 and put the playoffs 2-0.

This Friday they played the second game of the semifinal series at the Aguada gym. The key is resolved to the best of five matches and the aurinegros had already won the first.

With these two victories, Peñarol was one win away from the final in which he will face the winner of Biguá-Trouville.

First quarter: Penarol 21-17

First time: Penarol 45-29

Third quarter: Penarol 69-54

In the last quarter, Aguada established a better record than Peñarol, but the Aurinegros had already cemented the victory in the first 20 minutes and they closed the match 91-86.

The aurinegros had an even performance in scoring, Roberts 22 points, Diego García 17, Méndez 16, Flowers 13 and Aguilera 10, and thus cemented Peñarol’s new victory.

In Aguada, García Morales’ 31 points and Zuvich’s 15 rebounds were not enough.
