Ostapenko paired with Czech Karolina Pliskov in the eighth final with 3-6, 7-5, 7-10 in the duo of Japanese Suko Aoya and Taiwanese tennis player Haochin Chan.
Earlier in the first round, Ostapenko and Pliskov beat the duo of American Daniel Collins and Kazakh tennis player Julia Putinceva.
It has already been reported that in the singles Alona lost her qualification to the defeating American Lorina Davis in the first round. Ostapenko is ranked 13th in the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) and was numbered 11th in the tournament, while Davis is ranked 102nd.
