Orléans hosts the French wheelchair basketball championship for the under-23s.

The French wheelchair basketball championship for the under-23s takes place Friday 27 and Saturday 28 May 2022 at the Palais des Sports and at the Argonaute gymnasium to Orléans. From delegations from each region come to conquer the title in Orléans. Eight teams including a 100% female teamfor a total of approximately 80 playerswill be here over two days.

An impressive sport

This event is an opportunity to promote disabled sports and the dynamics of the Region for people with disabilities. So what is wheelchair basketball? They are people with physical disabilities. The rule of “walking”
