The Orlando Magic earned the right to pick first in the 2022 NBA Draft after winning the lottery on Tuesday night.
The top five are completed by the Oklahoma City Thunder, Houston Rockets, Sacramento Kings and Detroit Pistons.
Indiana Pacers, Portland Trail Blazers, New Orleans Pelicans and San Antonio Spurs round out the top 10 spots.
Heading into the event the three NBA teams with the worst records this season, the Rockets, Magic and Pistons, had the best odds for the top pick at 14 percent.
A particular detail of this year’s draft is that unlike other editions where players like Zion Williamson or Cade Cunningham were the clear favorites to be the first pick, the 2022 version does not have a clear candidate.
The three names mentioned the most as a possibility to be the first pick in the draft are Paolo Banchero of Duke University, Jabari Smith of Auburn and Chet Holmgren of Gonzaga.
The 2022 NBA Draft will take place on June 27 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
