National Police Chief Awarded Police Athletes Contributing to 2022 SEA Games Medals

The National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo gave the award as a form of appreciation to Polri personnel as athletes who have donated gold, silver and bronze medals for Indonesia in the 2021 Vietnam SEA Games event. The award ceremony for athletes from the National Police was held at the Rupatama Building at the National Police Headquarters, South Jakarta, Monday (30/5/2022).

“We just carried out the awarding of gold pin award certificates to 15 of our members who have excelled, and contributed to the name of the nation, especially in the implementation of the Sea Games in Vietnam yesterday,” said Sigit in the activity.

Because he has participated in making the name of the Indonesian nation and state proud at the SEA Games, Sigit representing the National Police institution conveys his highest respect to all Polri athletes who have won medals and raised the red and white flag in Vietnam.

“Of course the National Police and I as the National Police Chief represent the institution to give the highest appreciation and respect to members who have made extraordinary achievements,” said Sigit.

Sigit emphasized that the achievements of these athletes can be an example for all police personnel to give their best in carrying out their duties, both in service and other fields outside of service.

“Of course we continue to encourage colleagues, especially those who participate in sports or other fields to continue practicing. And our institutions will provide space for that. So they can really focus and be motivated,” said Sigit.
