Because the annual champions celebration in 2020 and 2021 could not take place, all champions from the past three years were honored at the 2022 edition.
The individual champions were the following: Jitse Bullen (BMX), Zoë Schetz (twirling), Anup Verheijen (badminton), Lobke Gelissen (fencing), May-Ji Hendriks (table tennis), Beau Ramaekers (judo), Amber Everts (motocross) , Kathleen Snijkers (sport shooting) and Theo Verstraeten (ornithology), Ronny Zoons and Marc van Diepen (G-badminton), Ramona Paredis and Anand Van Pol (G-dressage). “But also a big congratulations to the athletes of all the teams that were elected,” says Sport Alderman Mark Hoedemakers.(highlights)
